Ben was born in Birmingham but spent most of his growing up years in metro Atlanta. He loved aviation from the time he was a little guy. Ben spent fifteen years in local church ministry, leading churches in Georgia and Alabama. He could not get away from his desire to fly, so he shifted careers and began pursuing a new career in aviation.
