DJ is from Geraldine, Alabama, and discovered his passion for aviation after being introduced to flying by his uncle. After experiencing the excitement and challenge of flight firsthand, he quickly realized aviation was the career he wanted to pursue. That experience inspired him to begin his own journey and ultimately led him to become a flight instructor.

As an instructor, DJ enjoys helping students build confidence, make valuable industry connections, and find their own path to success. He is passionate about mentoring aspiring pilots and helping them achieve their goals. While he is still exploring his long-term career aspirations, he is drawn to both corporate aviation and the airlines, with the hope of one day flying internationally and experiencing more of the world.
