Todd Prince

Todd is originally from South Carolina and began his career in public service after graduating from The Citadel in 1992. Shortly after graduation, he joined the Sumter Police Department before beginning a 32-year career with the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). During his time with the DEA, Todd served as a Special Agent and Pilot, conducting domestic and international operations before transitioning to the DEA Aviation Division in Birmingham, Alabama.

Todd began his flight training in 1997 and went on to build an extensive aviation career, earning FAA commercial, instrument, and flight instructor ratings. He has accumulated more than 5,600 hours of flight experience in single and multi-engine aircraft and served as a DEA Instructor Pilot, Aviation Safety Council member, and Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigator.

After retiring from the DEA in 2025, Todd continues to share his passion for aviation by helping develop the next generation of pilots. Outside of aviation, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 27 years and their boy-girl twins.
