Another Birmingham native, Alex went to the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated in 2017 with a degree in finance. He stayed in Colorado selling real estate and working with startups before returning to Birmingham in 2023 to start his flight training at BFC. Alex also came full circle from a BFC student to now being one of our premier instructors. When he isn’t instructing, Alex often finds himself rock climbing, off-roading, or tinkering with electronics. Alex's’ first instructor had a profound impact that made him realize the importance of going the extra mile for his students, which he strives to do every day. Alex plans to transition to corporate or commercial flying while still mentoring up and coming pilots to give back to the community.
