James is another of our long time instructors with over 2000hrs of dual given. When he isn’t working with students, he is helping chronic pain patients in his position as a pain psychologist in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. James dedicates not just his professional life to helping others but also his personal life. James flew Angel Flights in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. When he finally clears his schedule, James enjoys traveling and hiking with his wife.
